We’re excited to announce new updates that have been added to the Smart CommunicationsTM platform. Our SC19 release focused on helping companies deliver more meaningful customer communications at tremendous scale. In an effort to help customers be as efficient as possible, many of the new developments to SmartCOMMTM and SmartCOMMTM for Salesforce aim to simplify the user experience, provide new functionality to our underlying content assembly, improve our deployment flexibility and streamline our enterprise integrations. We’ve also made advancements to our SmartDXTM solution with new document negotiation features designed to enhance collaboration.
Here are a few highlights of the new updates featured in our SC19 product release:
SmartCOMMTM: Enhancements focusing on new content assembly features together with a range of exciting new UI features that will improve ease of use and simplify the user experience for template authors and Draft Editor users.

Our updated Template Editor’s Preview functionality now allows users to control preview attributes while testing templates. The Messages panel has been redesigned to give a cleaner collapsed view, as well as providing enhanced information.
SmartCOMMTM for Salesforce: Improved capabilities of the core Template Designer and Draft Editor to allow even more powerful document types to be managed from Salesforce.

Side panels in Template Editor have been rebuilt in SmartUI offering increased stability, performance and consistency. Updates include a newly designed Insert panel (shown above).
SmartDXTM: A range of document negotiation features have been designed to support sophisticated document types and enhanced collaboration with counterparties.

A new Changes Panel shows a summary of the differences and allows navigation, acceptance and rejection of changes. The new Changes Panel is particularly useful for documents that are both complex and substantial in size.
