Digital Transformation in the Public Sector: Methodologies to Create a Digital-First Staff and Citizen Experience

Intelledox, a Smart Communications company, recently hosted 13 leading executives from Canberra’s government fraternity at an Executive Leaders Breakfast. Attendees included senior representatives across several key organizations – specifically, Australian Bureau of Statistics, Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission, Australian Electoral Commission, Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade), Department of Home Affairs, Department of Industry, Innovation and Science, Department of Veterans Affairs, Digital Transformation Agency, Royal Australian Mint, Canberra Institute of Technology, and Australian National University.

This by-invitation-only event was led by Nick Smith, VP and General Manager of the Smart Communications business in APAC, and supported by Ken MacDonald, Federal Sales Director. It provided a fantastic opportunity for our team to discuss key learnings and challenges associated with how departments are looking to leverage digital to enhance the citizen and staff experience.

CEO James Brown also joined the session and shared a global perspective and a range of success stories from across North America and Europe.

From improving collaboration to enabling conversations in the cloud, several conversations focused on one key theme – how the flexibility of the Intelledox platform makes it easy for businesses to respond quickly to build digital interviews for new needs, such as those surrounding critical communications in response to COVID-19.

Specifically, we’d like to highlight one recent customer accomplishment: Australian Nation University was able to quickly implement a response to COVID-19 using Intelledox forms that were created and distributed within a day in order to capture key information regarding their student presence in China. They also launched a secondary form to capture international student and staff information to gather analytical insights, as well as a payment support form.
